  Dependable working parts 13 October 2020

  Great purchase 19 July 2017

  My Cannon kendal cooker started playing up and then the oven stop getting hot.So i got a new element as the old one was looking very worn and we have had the cooker about 5 year and does get used everyday.I fitted the new element switched it on and nothing??? Then i remembered for a while before the problem some times you did have to give the door a little nudge to get to oven to work so thought i would check on espairs for a door switch.Had it in stock, ordered,fitted and oven came straight on and worked perfectly.part was easy to fit once you take the back and side panel off.been installed for a couple of weeks now and been working fine.would recommend.

  Good Quality but a bit overpriced 06 June 2017

  Switch appears to be good quality (time will tell). Overpriced for what it is, but this seems to be the going rate on other sites as well. Switch was easy to fit once I had removed the built in oven then removed the side panel (Hotpoint).

  An easy fix 29 January 2016

  I used this to fix a Creda Contour oven. The fan and oven stopped working. The side panel of this oven comes off easily. The switch is easily replaced. However, on further investigation, the fault was slight corrosion on one of the spade terminals of the original switch. After replacement I checked the old one with a multimeter and it was fine once the terminals had been cleaned with a bit of wet and dry paper. It would not have taken long to check so I could have saved myself 16 quid for which is, as has been previously stated, a microswitch in a plastic box but it was still much cheaper than calling out a 'specialist.'

  Easy to fit 21 December 2015

  Once you have the side panel off the oven, the switch is easy to fit. Just 2 connectors and 2 self tapping screws. A little bit plasticky and a little bit expensive for what is basically a microswitch in a box, but fit for purpose and doing the job nicely thanks. The old switch had overheated and melted due to a loose crimp connector, so make sure that they push on nice and tight. The oven gave symptoms of the fan and element not working. These share a common neutral which goes through this switch. Check it out before buying a new fan and element. Once the switch was replaced, both fan and element work fine.

  Solved the problem 28 July 2015

  Had a Cannon cooker not working, tried changing the element and fan to no avail. Someone suggested the door micro switch, thought I would give it go. Fairly simple to remove the side panel, changing the switch was a 2min job, panel back on, fingers crossed and it worked! Saved a massive call out fee by doing it myself. Espares service is excellent, really quick delivery and value for money. The how to vids are really helpful as well.

  Cooker Oven now working 16 March 2015

  Having previously replaced the door spear on Cannon Kendal. Oven Fan was still working intermittently. Logic dictated that the error was the Microswitch which I replaced in 20 minutes, also allowed the cleaning of the control panel. Great purchase Oven temperature fan control is perfect
