Perfect part to solve dishwasher problem 19 January 2015

My Siemens dishwasher was partially filling and then trying to empty at the same time. A quick look on the Internet indicated that a faulty "Impeller Jug" was the likely cause of the problem. espares video and quick delivery of the part solved the problem at minimal expense of time and money. Bit of a fiddle to fit but very straightforward. Works perfectly. Great service espares!

Impeller jug - just the job 26 November 2014

This Bosch part came quickly from eSpares and was easy even for me to fit in my Bosch dishwasher using basic tools It took me only an hour, including taking the side panel off (using T20 screw head tool) and putting it back on again. Worked first time, getting rid of the "Check Water" warning light, and allowing the machine to fill and empty properly. Just the job.

    Very pleased 08 November 2014

Product as described, suitable as described. Easy to fit but strength needed to move dishwasher around and undo pipe clips. Working perfectly - saved us buying a new control board as had been suggested by an engineer or a new dishwasher. Very pleased.

Needed the new part urgently. Got it next day. It was identical to tbe old part, so fitted eazily into a tight space. Took about half an hour. Worked immediatly, with no tweaks needed.

Bosch dishwasher impeller jug 23 July 2013

I bought this after reading everyone else's comments about the "check water" light on my classixx dishwasher. I'd already stripped the solenoid inlet valve to clean it on several occasions which seemed to fix the problem for a day or two, but never permanently. Consequently, I knew how to access the impeller jug (why don't they call it a flow sensor?) and was able change it over easily. The only trouble I had was with the electrical connection which needed a small tag of plastic trimming back to allow the plug to enter fully. The sensor consists of a small impeller with a magnet on the end of the shaft. This magnet acts on a reed relay which is simply two thin strips of steel in a glass capsule. The steel strips become magnetised and spring together when the capsule is near a permanent magnet. My sensor was failing because the steel strips had begun to oxidise on their contact faces which meant the resistance was too high: 3-7 mega Ohms instead of almost zero Ohms. Anyone with some practical electrical soldering experience could replace the reed relay capsule with ease and restore the flow sensor to working order.
