  genuine spare part for the dishwasher i have, however the base started to crack and separate from the sides so cutlery soon started falling through gaps. So its terrible quality. trying a cheaper non genuine version. I have had dishwashers for over 10 years and never had to replace the cutlery rack before, let alone twice in 18 months.

  The basket is an ideal replacement for a broken one. I would have preferred if I could have got a replacement top cover as well but they are not available.

  I've purchased this product before, from espares. With time the mesh at the bottom of the basket deteriorates and the enlarged holes allow cutlery to fall through! This basket does feel stronger and so I hope that it lasts longer and I don't mind it being grey instead of white. However, I wish a meshed top was included (which keeps the cutlery upright and separate) and so loss of a star. Fortunately I have the original part still in one piece to reuse.

  No built in obsolesence. 12 June 2017

  After 13 years the present cutlery basket had developed a few holes in the base with wear and tear. We were delighted to find there was no built in obsolescence and got an identical replacement basket for our dishwasher model at a reasonable price. Well done e-spares.
