  A Useful Supplement 19 March 2015

  Purchased to enable me to use my Vax cylinder machine for carpet sweeping when my upright was being repaired. Understandably, the brush lacks the 'rotary strength' of the upright's, but with this tool the machine picks up bits well. (Unfortunately it is not so good at picking up dog's hairs).

  Replacement Head for Vax Mach 5 24 April 2014

  This is a vax branded replacement turbo brush and it is as good as the original supplied with the machine at a discount to what I could find elsewhere. Really good for hard flooring. Only minor problem is Vax have changed the design of the locating spigot on the suction tube that fits in the socket of the base unit so you can't 'park' the turbo brush and vacuum tube on the front of the machine for storage. This does not effect the performance of the unit in any way.

  my vax didn't have a turbo tool and was not cleaning the carpets the way I wanted it to. This turbo tool with the beater bar is much better. It was easy to fit. Just pushed on. Wish I had bought one earlier.
