this is a 15 min job if you follow the review about removing front panel/door (very good instructions) it was relay board faulty easy to get to with front off

OK when I worked out fitting see below 17 May 2013
Quality and value only 4 stars because it's only been running 3 minutes since I fixed it. This mainly to publicise how to fit to a Candy GOC218-80. First disconnect power. Then undo 3 screws at back securing lid retainer and remove lid by sliding backwards. Plastic side edges to lid remove by sliding back only about 1" and then lifting. This reveales two screws holding front control panel in place. Remove these and with some careful manipulation control panel can be rested on top of machine. Don't stress wires and watch for lamps pulling out of panel - check which hole they belong in! Now you can see the relay board and the screws that hold it in place which are currently completely inaccessible. Only way I could get to them properlay was to remove main front complete with door. There are two screws at the top, to underneath the bottom edge, then with door open there are two screws on the right and two screws on the left. For those on the hinge side there are actually four screws all looking like they hold the hinges in place - which they do - but two (one from each hinge) will release the front panel, the other two will hold the door to the front panel only. It's the top screw on each hinge you remove, has a smaller head than the bottom screw. Hope this saves someone some time...

Purchased this part for my Hoover tumble dryer which had been playing up. Fitted it within 10 minutes, after spending 5 minutes working out how the front of the dryer came off and the dryer was working again. I now have a happy wife and wallet. Excellent value with speedy delivery.

Tumble Dryer Relay/PCB Replacement 05 November 2012
Like many others tumble dryer would not stay on, googled answer and was directed to espares. Part arrived quickly and fitting was straight forward apart from securing screws being behind fascia panel. Followed advice found on web and secured new panel from inside to make future removal easier. Tumble Dryer now good as new.

Easily found the right product,delivered on time. Fitting was tricky,as the securing screws were concealed ,but that was Hoover for you. Will use again.

Great Stuff 25 June 2012
My Nexus tumble dryer stopped working. The drum would turn but only if the button was held down with a screeching sound. The board arrived quickly and well packaged. I had to take the top and front off the machine, but fitting was straightforward and the machine now works. I've fixed this dryer twice with parts from e-spares, it's fair to say I've saved hundreds of pounds.

It would only work with the switch held in the 'on' position. Research suggested that a switch on its own may not solve the problem so a switch and circuit board were purchased and easily fitted. Happy to say it now works perfectly.
