  Fitted OK and it works. Difficult to rate quality but they only seem to last about 15 months but it does the job. A longer guarantee would be good.

  Good product let down by poor packaging and user support 06 December 2015

  The element itself is fine - fitting was a pain as the oven is a low level job so it involved some contortions to get the old element out and the new one in, but aside from that it's in, working and the oven's performance is as good as ever. I am however less than impressed with the packaging the goods came in, a mailing box which didn't hole the element particularly safely, and no fitting instructions, just a guide to website support, which doesn't cover things like burn-in times or any other information I needed. This needs to be improved. Not everyone wants to sit in front of a broken appliance trying to read generic fitting instructions on a smartphone.

  Straightforward purchase and good installation video 31 March 2015

  If I'm honest I can't offer too much of a view on product quality. It was easy to install and it works. That's OK for me and only time will tell to product lifespan and reliability. What I do like is the menu system on the eSpares website that helps the non-specialist buyer, like me, find the right part and the installation video is real added value - practical and easy to follow. Delivery prompt, too.

  How to keep the wife happy! 12 March 2015

  I bought a genuine Hotpoint Group fan oven heater element, to replace a blown one which had lasted 14 years, rather than a compatible one. Ordered said item one afternoon, and paid for next day delivery. Unfortunately, it came too late in the day to fit then. I fitted the new element the following day, the actual job is easy enough, but the screws holding the back plate are fiddly, but if you magnetise your screwdrivers it makes it much easier. Total time about 45 mins. So, I'm happy-saved a load of money and the wife is happy-she has got her oven back!

  Easy to purchase and fitted in place after a short fight with the lower brackets which separate the coils. *always watch the videos before fitting to avoid the standard problems Sadly the postie had a nose into the parcel, probably to verify all the parts were correct!

  Just what we needed 27 October 2014

  Having removed the oven from the kitchen unit and taken the back and top off taking the dead element out was simple. But it helps to have someone support the element at the back of the oven.
