  Fits perfectly - much improved design 24 July 2023

  As others have commented, this is a much improved design and fits our Hoover tumble drier perfectly. Time will tell I suppose, but I can see this out-lasting the old one which is loosely held together with tape and now heading for the bin.

  Very pleased to find this, my tumble dryer is old and the manufacturer has stopped production of the filters. It was fantastic to be able to find a replacement and it fits perfectly and means I can carry on using my dryer for a bit longer.

  Does the job but... 23 February 2016

  There is not much that can go wrong with a simple tumble dryer filter but a drawback/ design problem was evident after the first use. This was the lugs that snap it together have to be opened using a screwdriver to open the filter to get the lint out. An inconvenience for an ex-technician like me but very hard to do for anyone less handy.

  Problem solved 10 December 2015

  The filter for my Hoover dryer was worn out and the filter I had was no longer produced. An enquiry to e-spares produced an alternative which is an excellent fit. Without their help I would have been stranded. Thank you.

  It's hard to get excited by tumble dryer replacement filter.However, the original filter started to fall apart after 4.5 years of regular family usage. The filter came on time, the price was right, and it fitted. I'll place another order for one in 4.5 years. Note that although it says it's for a Hoover, it is identical to one in my Candy dryer. No doubt the machines are made in the same factory.
