  Doesn't work with the original brush tools 25 May 2017

  Like a previous reviewer I needed to replace the broken catch. This adapter isn't right for the job. The wide (catch) end is exactly the same diameter as the original brushes, so they don't fit on.

  Fits over the old one 22 May 2017

  Great. My DCO5 came with a turbo brush; the crescent catch attachment has broken so the brush kept falling off. I couldn't get the broken one out of the metal hose, but took a chance that a new adaptor might just push on top of it. It does! Now I can use the big brushes again :) This replacement seems well enough made, I expect it to last for some time.

  Bought some attachments for my not-so-new Dyson vacuum cleaner from Currys. Unfortunately, these did not fit. Found this connector at espares. Received this very quickly and ... it does the job. Very happy. Many thanks for a perfect service.

  This adapter is well made and does exactly as its description. In my case I can now use tools that came with a new Dyson on my old Dyson DC07

  Definitely NOT for Dyson DC08 09 May 2014

  I regret to say that the Dyson Vacuum Universal Fit Tool Adaptor actually does not fit to the Dyson DC08 tubes! Only 1 milimeter difference, in the diameter of the “adaptor”… Just pure waste - price + shipment Any chance for correcting it on your side, eSpares? Actually, all the other purchases have always been fine.

  Does Not Do What It Says 08 July 2013

  Although the product may be of high quality, good value for money and fit easily it does not do/work as the description leads one to believe. Various tools will fit into the adaptor but the adaptor, although it fits into the telescoping tube, does not lock into the tube. This results in the tool and adaptor constantly falling out of the telescoping tube.

  Did not fit nt Dyson 08 05 April 2013

  I purchased this item as I thought it would be requied to conect the stair cleaning tool I purchsed to go onto my Dyson 08 but neither fitted my Dyson 08 machine so both a waste of money.
