We believe the blade is located onto the upper short handle piece and this is screwed tight to the lower piece allowing the blade to just push forward and allow to protrude enough to contact the hobs surface.

We have no kits that are similar however we have a new oven cleaning spray and hob scrapers can be bought separately. Oven Cleaning Spray: http://www.espares.co.uk/product/es869865 Hob Scraper: www.espares.co.uk/product/es723824
I don't have a ceramic hob, but the reviews about the scraper and the cream cleaner seem to suggest that it shifts anything burnt on... what about a grill with decades of cooking grime all over it? Would you recommend this?
- Not sure if you mean the grill pan or inside the grill. I think it would take an awful lot of elbow grease perhaps to give you no real improvement. Have you tried oven cleaner? If it's just the grill pan I would suggest trying Fairy Power spray
my hob is only 3 weeks old and my husband has cleaned it with a alcholic wipe this has taken the shinny look of in a small part on the hob will your ceramic cleaner bring my hob back to looking like new
- Obviously one doesn't know for sure but it is REALLY good and worth a try.
