The carbon brushes arrived in reasonable time, well packaged and do the job they're supposed to. But, the included "fitting kit" really a flimsy pair of bent pliers, is unnecessary, easier to fit with a screwdriver, and I suspect that a large part of the cost is to cover this unnecessary item. No option to buy brushes without the fitting kit, which I think would probably halve the total cost. I can't blame espares for this though, comparing prices elsewhere, there's little difference, and it's still cheaper than a complete new motor, so, I'm relatively happy with the product, even though almost £40 for two small plastic holders and about 50mm of carbon is excessive.
