Description

This spare is the electric mechanism that tells the machine when it can start and stop the wash cycle. So, if yours is broken then it's either going to lock your door shut or not recognise that it's shut and prevent the start cycle happening.

This is a genuine Electrolux spare part that has been made to fit over 20 brands of dishwasher model.

Please note: This part is PNC and serial number dependent. Please contact our call centre with this information so we can advise on a suitable spare.

When the door interlock failed on our Zanussi washing machine espares site made it easy to find the correct part and the video tutorial reassured me that it was something I could do myself and showed exactly how to carry out the repair. The part was reasonably priced and what with saving a £90 call out fee a real bargain. The machine was repaired and working in 24 hours thanks to espares.

Quick delivery and the part fitted very easily. Unfortunately the problem persisted. Eventually traced thre problem to the door handle assembly I ordered serarately. This has arrived and proved easy to fit and works properly. I advise everyone to check both parts of the door lock mechanism to establish if the door handle is moving the locking prong far enough that it unlatches from the inner switch. As one opens the door the stricker needs to move about 5mm.
  • A good company to deal with.

The door switch was exactly as described, and the charts of machine numbers was invaluable in selecting the correct one. Thankyou. B.H. Taylor.
