  Purchased this for Neff 2654XOGB cooker hood. The kitchen fitter had no trouble fitting it and it, and the hood, extract better than any other extractor fan I have ever used. e spares were very efficient as well so top marks all round.

  This appeared to be a universal vent kit and did not easily connect to the cooker hood or to the 100mm pipe in the wall. I did manage to adapt it to fit but had to use duct tape to seal the joints which looks amateurish. However it did the job.

    We also bought this kit to cut down on condensation. Our hood is not on an external wall so I only needed certain items from the kit. As we are in a bungalow we took a (new) longer vent pipe into the roof space and then out through a soffit grille. As it's only just been fitted, it's too early to say whether it will be effective. It may be that our vent pipe is too long to work well. The main issue with the universal fitting is that it didn't fit our Neff hood particularly well and some degree of improvisation (and gaffer tape) was required. I'd suggest looking for a specific branded version if one is available but this kit should do the job if you can't find anything else.

  Need to reduce from 150mm to 100mm. Also, how do we block the vertical outlet? Hood purchased without instructions or product leaflet.
