My wife's machine is 5/6yrs old but it was only the hose leaking at joint & I was worried as to whether I could get the correct figment for it however checked on Internet & found that although e- spares were cheapest the information &reviews gave me confidence to order. Easy Peasy ordering &paying and received item within date promised. The item was easy to fit too, as I've said BRILLIANT ! Will recommend them any time.

The part wasn't used so it is difficult to write a review but there was nothing wrong with the part except it wasn't long enough. That was not espares fault but it was not worth returning & as far as I know my daughters dishwasher is still not repaired.

Stock Number: ES479541 is a 2.5 metre version of this hose or you can extend the hose by connecting two and a coupler.

  • Q is this hose wras approved to avoid potable water contamination? 1 Answer

    By Les - 16 January 2014

    • A
As this regulation applies to water for human consumption and this is a hose designed for the supply to a washing machine we do not think that this needs to be WRAS approved or is suitable for drinking water. If you are concerned about this we suggest you fit a non return valve to the water tap and for more information see: http://dwi.defra.gov.uk/stakeholders/conferences-seminars/reg31-workshop/wras.pdf

the two ends of my inlet hose are different - one seems to have a filter inside dies this end fix to my pipework or to the machine?

It makes better sense to place it at the tap end to collect any debris for easily removal.

If you have your make and model number to hand that would help us search for the correct parts. If not then you will have to look through our universal parts for the ones you need.

  • Q What type of tap adaptor should be used? 1 Answer

Bosch said that to prevent leakages the tap must have a minimum of 11 mm of thread in this way the hose will seal correctly

Hi Monofarkas, the screw thread measures 3/4", or 19mm. The connection is UK standard and will fit on to any tap.
