It's a rubber belt that makes the brush rotate

As a single component it's hard to make this review "sexy". I ordered a nice black rubber drive belt. I got a black rubber drive belt that fitted the vacuum cleaner. The brush bar rotates as good as it ever did. The black rubber drive belt is perfect. Only time will tell if it stands the test of time, so for now, it's 4/5, if it lasts a fair while then I'd make it 5/5. Who said it wouldn't be sexy?

  • Undo the screw on the height ajustment knob and the screws underneath lift the casing off Its a bit fiddly but look how the old one is fitted and unhook brush bar and replace the new one where the old one was Replace the casing and screw back into place By caz - Sussex - 26 March 2012
Answer this question

I have removed the obvious 4 screws but the casings seem to be joined by the height adjuster. The stem will not turn far enough to line up the pegs on the adjuster stem with the slots in the lower casing and I am reluctant to use too much force.
