I used this for a candy tumble dryer which was turning but not heating up. It was really easy to fit, the wires are coloured coded (although mine were faded so needed a torch to make sure I didn't mix it up) I did however drop the wires but managed to get them back by lifting the machine onto it side a bit. Only need a screwdriver over than that. Done in under 20 minutes I'm guessing.

Probably no alternative to buying the original Candy part but is expensive relative to the cost of a new dryer. Took a chance after finding dryer was not generating enough hot air before. In addition, when turning on, all red lights illuminated, dryer started but immediately cut out. Half expected electronic board faulty. Took chance to replace heater element. Part is not pretty but functional, Hidden anyway ! UNPLUG APPLIANCE Having watched E-Spares video I removed top panel to remove side but realised not poss. Chance to see inside & view terminals, circuit board etc. . Removed rear fan/heater cover. Realised terminals would come out one by one using thin nose pliers (pull female connector) through the small hole. From there, 2 screws to remove old heater & replace, make connections, push back through hole. Before replacing top vacuumed out considerable fluff. Job finished. Dryer starts O.K. lights function normally, produces hot air again. Fair expectation drier will give further good service so cost probably justified. Easy DIY fix. Only tools - Philips screwdriver, thin nose pliers (vacuum cleaner - optional !)
