Removing filter

Does this item completely unscrew or does it just require a twist and withdrawal?

  • Had the problem as described above and followed the destructions to remove the pump, yes its a bit of a job pulling the washer out and the pipes etc, but found out why the washer wouldnt drain or spin, removed the pen,bra wire and 2 coins, checked all pipes etc re-fit pump and new fluff filter, washer as good as new. And yes it has to be completely un screwed to get it out. By The ginger fat head - West Yorkshire - 03 January 2015

We believe this will require around 3 revolutions to unscrew before removal. If it will not turn it is likely that hair grips or coins are preventing it turning. Remove the pump and clear the debris as in our video: • http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1373/how-to-replace-the-pump-on-a-washing-machine-
