  Fast delivery and great product 16 April 2023

  Fast delivery, ordered Friday afternoon and received on the Saturday. The belt is quite tricky to fit, as many others have advised, it is very tight to get onto the spindle. I found that by heating the belt with hair dryer for a few minutes made it much easier to fit. Done several loads of drying and so far so good, very pleased to have saved cost of new tumble dryer.

  FITTING THE INDESIT DRYER BELT 29 March 2023

  Watch the Espares video before fitting and make note of 'stretching' the belt. This is the bit that needs some effort, but the rest of fitting as shown in the video is straight forward and makes the process easy.

  Saved the cost of a new tumble dryer 01 March 2023

  Bought this after viewing the espares web site on how to change the belt. It was easy to follow and worked out well. So the existing machine remains with us and has an extended life. Feeling quite smug with myself (hope it's not pride before a fall)

  Replacing drive belt with fixing drum bearing 10 February 2023

  Having spent the extensive time to strip a Hotpoint tumble drier down to replace the drum bearing on a 5 year old machine that had had hard use, I felt it wise to replace the drive belt at the same time. The old belt was perfect but had stretched an inch or so, possibly due to the damaged bearing. The machine strip down is time consuming but straightforward to access the drum and drive belt. It is very difficult to get the new belt on the drive pulley in spite of watching the eSpares videos, but persistence eventually paid and then it was straightforward once you get the knack. You really need a heavy duty screwdriver acting as a lever as in the video. Between the new bearings and this new belt, I anticipate the machine will work more efficiently, using less electricity and give many years more active life for the family.

  Does what it’s meant to 27 January 2023

  I’ve given this 1 star for ease of fitting because it’s really hard, not the fault of the product it’s just a really tough job, use a long handled large screwdriver for leverage to get it on. Been working fine for 2 months now.

  First Time Replacing Belt 10 January 2022

  Thought I'd have a go at replacing the drum drive belt that had snapped on my tumble dryer. A bit difficult to fix but that is because I'm a novice! I'll know next time. Probably saved quite a few pounds doing it myself so I'm pleased I bought the replacement through Espares.
