  Hard to tell if it has worked,but scale that had been visible on the edge of the drum appears to have gone so assume it does work on the internals of the machine.Rapid delivery by e.spares again !

  Two for one? 06 December 2010

  Supplier says this is good for two doses (half contents) but instructions on bottle say use the whole amount at 40c (doesn't seem hot enough to shift limesacale?). I'm guessing a one shot dose is to 'blast' it all out and two doses is for monthly maintenace. It's hard to say if this works unless you strip down the machine and inspect the element for scale removal. A leap of faith is required in this respect. An easy method of application if you dont mind doing a 'non' wash, ie using water/electricity. Although a hand full of soda crystals in the drum with every wash may work out cheaper? If this descales the element then it has to be a good thing.
