  Not universal 25 October 2021

  Beware. Despite claiming to be universal and recommended replacement, this did not fit my NEFF oven. Lamp is too large for removable cover. Not so much a review (as unable to try it) - more a warning.

  Ordered two lamps, both failed within 12 months. Branded lamps have always lasted much longer so will revert to these from now on.

  Watch the voltage rating! 31 October 2017

  I ordered two thinking that all ok for the uk. Put first one in and it popped. Thinking I was unlucky tried the second one. it too popped. Double checked the voltage rating and they are 230v checked the voltage on my oven 243v. Got a bulb from a local dealer which was rated 240v seems to work fine.

  Fell apart? 01 May 2017

  Screwed in easily - replaced cover - cooked a meal - light went out. Waited for oven to cool - opened cover and glass of light bulb came out at same time leaving the remains of the bulb fitting in its holder????

  The review does not represent the quality as it is untested! I have not tested the bulb because I could not remove the cover over the old one! I have now ordered the tool from e spares to aid removal! Unless you are a muscleman, think about buying bulb and tool as a package???!!I bought the last build from e spares and that has had a good life - I suppose if the bulb had been poor quality it would have failed sooner and been easier to remove.

  Short life 16 November 2015

  Purchased 3 end of October Bulbs that arrived were GE (General Electric) branded packaging. Fitted 1 of them on 2nd November. Blew on the 11th! Certainly not the stated 1000 hours life... Customer services have refunded the cost of one bulb and suggested my Neff needs a Phillips Bulb costing 8 times as much! Both bulbs are E14 40W rated to 300C. I'll be waiting to see how long the one fitted 5 days ago lasts before deciding whether to pay such a big price differential for the same specification.

  Faulty goods 08 August 2015

  Plugged bulb in to appliance it blew straight away. Purchased another one from a local store worked first time and still does!!
