  Like another reviewer I found that this particular bulb doesn't allow me to fit the glass dome back over the top. It is a bigger version that the one already fitted and got the impression from the details on espares online info that it would fit my oven. I would have been more cautious IF I had read the other reviews first. I bought two for back-up too !! They look like decent quality items and was happy to pay the price as it saved travelling to get them elsewhere....... just can't use them.

  Universal bulb 09 October 2011

  These bulbs are FAT and did not fit within the glass dome cover in my oven. Thus to me they were unusable and represent a poor purchase. However the quality and value appear good if they were to fit.

  Universal E14 25 Watt Oven Lamp 19 March 2010

  Didn't fit my Smeg cooker as bulb is not a uniform size - it bulges out giving a max diameter of about 27mm, where as the original Philips bulb was have a uniform diameter of about 24mm. Not as universal as first thought!
