  Doing the job perfectly first class Purchased one at a well known supermarket about the same price and it lasted two days so got this one from e spares and still works very happy.

  This is the second time I have purchased this type of bulb for our cooker and I am very disappointed in them. It only lasted a few days before it blew as did the first one.

  Worst ever purchase - does not fit my oven. Therefore not universal 22 February 2012

  I assumed from the description 'Universal E14...' that it would fit. After all, it looks extremely similar to the bulb I was replacing. Unfortunately, it is slightly larger, so I cannot get the oven's glass cover back on once the bulb is inserted in the oven. I have therefore removed the bulb from the oven and purchased one from a department store (for less than half the price - that was a surprise... unless the espares one lasts much longer). I suppose if it fits your oven, it gets 5 stars - who knows? As a pointer for anyone needing one of these... If your existing bulb has a small swelling on the end, this one might fit. If it does not have a small swelling on the end, I would be careful. I am considering what to do with this purchase. The bulb is currently sitting in its box in my cupboard. Is it worth asking for a refund?

  Faulty Bulb 19 July 2011

  This bulb was not in the box with the rest of the order and was stuck on the outside of the package with tape so i was not surprised when the bulb didnt last very long as im sure it took a few bumps in transport

  put bulb in to oven, turned on and it blew! had to order another bulb from another supplier, who was cheaper. Not impressed to be honest and the cost to post it back wouldn't have been worth the refund.

  Warning not suitable for a Belling Format 625 02 June 2011

  This particular lamp is not suitable for a Belling format 625 as the top most part of the bulb envelope is too wide to fit the aperature of the cookers glass lense. The correct bulb is a Philips SES E14 25w

  Not only do these oven lamps not fit, they can come in different sizes too. I bought two of them and one was much bigger than the other. Neither of them fitted.
