  Good product 06 January 2014

  This product was by no means easy to fit. I read reviews and had an idea it was going to be tricky. It took me around half an hour in total but I recommend to every to take the door completely off otherwise you will never get this fitted. Anyone who is not good with their hands should avoid fitting themselves and hire someone but other than that the product worked perfectly.

  All OK 23 May 2012

  Finally got the seal fitted to the Candy Fridge freezer. the door panel was glued in place so I had to pry up the edges to get the seal fitted - this took over an hour. The tiny seal lip that goes under the door panel was hard plastic so it was tricky to get in under the door panel. Pretty happy overall and all's well that ends well. Another fridge saved from the landfill!!!

  Over-estimating your ability 22 November 2011

  I am not a good D-I-Y-er, so I watched the video, bought the silicone lubricant, and had the hair dryer handy - but I'm afraid that I wasn't competent enough to fit this product. Absolutely nothing wrong with the seal itself - and it arrived quickly - but next time I would get in a handyman to fit it.

  Tip on how to fit 14 July 2010

  On a Candy fridge door the old seal just pulls out. Clean the slot with hot soapy water & allow to dry. Warm up new seal to room temperature or above. Apply silicone lubricant to the part of the seal to be fitted into slot. Start seal insertion at a corner,This allows the seal to slip easily into the slot. Without lubricant it can sometimes be difficult to fit.

  eSpares freezer door seal 10 June 2009

  received the door seal from e Spares eventually !!!! not sure if it was a eSpares problem or a royal mail problem the quality was as good as the oem part but it was a pain to fit !!!! take the door off if you're doing one yourself it's a lot easier !!!! Now it's sorted my freezer is once more the coolest place to be !!!! Cheers Spiidi
