It seems to me that there are only 2 types of people who can be bothered to write these reviews.,Those who are very happy,and those who are not.And regular busy people will not do either. I have been very pleased with all the stuff I have bought from Espares .I now have the time available to pass comment,having had excellent service .In each case it has been a distress purchase ,because something has broken,so a new part has been needed fairly urgently.I don’t suppose anyone simply wakes up in the morning and says “Today I feel like buying a new drive belt for the Flymo” Espares are good at showing that replacement part in a lot of detail .This gives you the confidence to shell out cash instead of otherwise buying a whole new replacement product. It might be worth their while doing some diagnostic videos ,to help identify which component of the machine has failed ?

With instructions from espares website, I found this fairly easy to fit & the mower works well again. The belt appears to be well made & very strong.

MY MODEL No: EG330VX, 9665550-40. PROBLEMS CONFIRMING THIS WAS THE CORRECT BELT FOR MY MACHINE. ESPARES CHECK DIDN'T SHOW IT AS COMPATIBLE BUT LOOKING AT THE PHOTO WAS THE SAME No. AS MY OLD ONE. DIDNT HAVE TIME TO PHONE ESPARES TO CHECK SO ORDERED ANYWAY, PART ARRIVED AND WAS CORRECT. THE FLYMO PACKAGING ALSO DIDN'T LIST MY MODEL No. WOULD HAVE PREFERED TO ORDER CHEAPER GENERIC BELT BUT HAD TO GO WITH FLYMO ONE AS COULDN'T CONFIRM PART No. TO BE FAIR IF I HAD TIME TO CALL ESPARES WOULD PROBABLY HAVE SORTED IT OUT AS HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THEM VERY GOOD AT IDENTIFING CORRECT PARTS EVEN IF WEBSITE SAYS OTHERWISE. SHOULD PROBABLY HAVE ORDERED NEW BLADE AT THE SAME TIME AS WHEN FITTING THE BELT REALISED THE OLD ONE WAS WELL WORN.

Fitting the belt was a doddle 20 April 2017
The most difficult thing was taking the Flymo apart. The eSpares Video was a great help even if my model was older - it gave me confidence. Once I had it in bits fitting the drive belt couldn't have been easier. And great for morale when various repairers were tut tutting about "might be able to do but might not .... and we're two weeks behind" etc. It was a five minute job reassembling.
