  Fiddly but good 06 May 2014

  Watch the video carefully or be prepared to redo it a few times, I got the position of the spring wrong twice, but only realised when I attempted to shut the door after assembly. That said it does what it is meant to.

  Broken latch 30 April 2014

  Recently the door release latch broke on my Hoover washing machine and having bought from e-spares before, I decided to try them for the replacement part and low and behold they did and at a reasonable price as well....The fitting of the part was a little complicated but after a little bit of brain storming I managed work out how to fit it...I think fitting instructions would have been nice...but if you take it apart carefully the rebuild should straight forward

  New door handle 12 March 2014

  Delighted how easy to find andf low cost @ espares. Fitting straight forward but fitting spring to get right action a bit hit and miss on the hoover as there are no spiggots etc it just relies on the tight clearance between the back and front door elements. Probably took an extra 5mins to suss out.

  The first order arrived in no time but had the actual door handle missing but e-spares rectified that very quickly. Fitting the new kit would have been much easier had there been a diagram as to how to fit the spring

  How to replace a washing machine door handle 11 January 2014

  In fact the replacement is astountingly easy if you know that the silver ring of the door bends the spring. Checking out the part of the silver ring covering the mechanism you can see two spots on the plastic which are caused by the wear of the spring. Unfortunately the spring in the little movie is of a different sort which caused some confusion. After reading about it in an other review on this site it took me only 5 minutes to get it done.
