  The triangular o ring that comes with it, is not a great fit, you have to be very careful fitting it, use grease, or even glue to keep it in place, apart from that, fitting the head is quite easy, Thought is was a bit expensive though for a bit of plastic.

  2nd time I've had to replace this part 08 August 2017

  For the second time since owning my Karcher 5.55 I've had the pulsing issue, first time was back in 2013 when i believe it was frost damage, more recently it started pulsing during use in the summer. For this reason I've marked it down on Quality and Value, but happy it's fixed again.

  A little overpriced you have to swap several parts over if they were damaged you would have to order additional parts Crack in control head on my unit Caused hunting and lowe pressure Fitted this part plus valve head job done sorted😀

  Fixed the problem 24 November 2016

  My Karcher pump wouldn't start when I pulled the trigger - when I did get it going, it carried on running when I stopped washing. This part includes the pressure switch mechanism so fixed my problem. Be aware you need to transfer several parts from the old unit to the new - an internal filter and the little soap suction part and a few others - can be a little tricky and a vice helps. The old hose outlet was a loose fit on the new part so required a few turns of PTFE tape to seal on reliably.

  Good replacement part for K3.99m Karcher pressure washer. 05 November 2016

  Old head was cracked internally due to ice damage from being stored over winter in a shed. Removed parts from old head and fitted into new head after viewing you tube Videos. Installed new head in washer along with a new cylinder head to be on the safe side. Power washer now good as new.

  Easy leakage fix 01 October 2016

  By replacing both the Control and Cylider head the problematic pulsing behaviour casued by leakage disapeard! Easy to order, delivered right into mailbox, easy to replace and fit (took about 30 min).

  My pressure washer had started pulsing when the machine was idle so I guessed it was losing pressure. I kept using it for a while but then it lost all pressure while I was actually using it. I took it apart to see what I could find and narrowed the problem down to either the cylinder head or the control head. I took a punt on the cylinder head first but it made no difference so I bought this control head and now the machine works great again. Installation was simple enough if you have any kind of engineering experience. You do need to remove bits from the old head to put on the new one, (it was while doing this that I discovered a crack in the old control head) but with a little attention to make sure you have moved everything over, it's not too hard. The machine is held together with torx head screws but an electrical terminal screwdriver fitted fine. Just be sure to hook the pressure switch lever into the correct location when fitting the head back onto the motor. It's very frustrating having to take it all apart again because you didn't notice this the first time. :( Quality seems good but only time will tell. I've given the value three out of five simply because I'm wondering if I may have been better off putting the cost of the two parts I bought toward a new pressure washer. However, if money is tight and like myself, you like fixing stuff, this is a good buy.

  Karcher K300 Control Head Parts Set. 06 June 2016

  This part arrived promptly & was well packaged. It was fairly easy to fit, but a little "fiddly"! The old part had a hairline crack in it - surprising as the pressure washer is kept in an integral (warm) garage. It certainly cured the water leaking - but unfortunately, although the pressure washer now works, it surges or pulses. I would have liked to see a seal kit available to complete this job - I certainly would have purchased one. The control head does come with a "triangular" seal.
