  Fixing the door is cheaper than a new oven 23 January 2012

  I bought the Striker along with the roller catch for the oven door which we had to slam shut and would pop open at random times. My girlfriend was convinced we would need a new oven. The striker and catch arrived quickly and were good value and a lot cheaper than a new oven. Fitting them was a little tricky as the oven needs to be gently pulled out and the side removed but only requires a screw driver and a bit of patience. Very happy saved me a small fortune.

  The catch did not fit into the slot on the inside of the oven door, it does however keep the oven door closed by gripping onto the outside. It does the job so I am satisfied.

  Small but invaluable... 20 November 2008

  I thought we were going to have to buy a new oven until someone suggested e-spares; I was surprised to find such a small insignificant part from an old appliance still available. The part matched the original exactly and fitted easily, although I half expected screws to be included - the original ones are now a bit worn. I thought the part was a bit pricey especially with delivery charge, but cheap compared to a new oven or oven door! Overall very happy thanks, athough the local takeaway will miss our business.
