  Disappointed with replace item 24 June 2015

  Was really disappointed with this item as it wasn't the same as the original one that we took off , I thought I was purchasing an original replacement. This replacement was very flimsy compared to the original one we took off.! Needless to say I had to use it as I needed to use my oven but I don't feel that it's 100% sealed!

  NOT SUITABLE FOR MODEL 050541115 12 November 2014

  Although the website shows this as "compatible" with Stoves model no 050541115 and is a "genuine replacement" I found to my expensive cost, that it did not fit that model as it left a gap around the oven door letting heat escape and was totally the wrong shape seal from the original seal removed. It is also TOO long for the upper oven door requiring to be cut, hence why my return was rejected. I previously purchased a genuine part from my nearest dealer for the main oven which was correct and fitted correct but even that was too long requiring it to be cut.

  easy to fit and came within a couple of days of ordering, no problems at all. just make sure that the seal you order for your oven is for rounded corners and not square ones

  THOUGHT I WAS ONLY PURCHASING THE TOP OVEN DOOR SEAL AS DESCRIBED BUT WHEN ARRIVED LENGTH WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO DO THE JOB TWICE!!! IT MEANS I HAVE PAID TWICE AS MUCH AS I NEEDED TO BECAUSE WILL PROBABLY NEVER NEED TO USE THE REMINDER AS ORIGINAL LASTED 12 YEARS

  I needed both seals. I examined the old seals, they were identical. I measured the lengths needed. To make sure I got the correct seals I phone my order to confirmed I had selected the correct seals. I requested the measured length to complete both doors. However, the seals are sold as set lengths per door. So, I ordered. both seals were fitted from the main door seal with a lot left over. didn't need the shorter

  Top oven Door Seal is a dificult one when the cooker has two ovens and a grill above one of the ovens. This product is for the Grill, not what I needed. Be careful with range cookers and ring the helpful sales office if you can not see the exact produce which is what I should have done! Know better for next time I need spares.Once sorted with sales office, service as usual was great!
