  Got this to replace the seal on the top oven of my hotpoint cooker, was listed as a suitable substitute. Easy enough to fit - but the corner hooks should have been on the inside of the metal corner clips not on the outside which means that the seal is positioned not on the metal surround of the oven bit right on the edge - I expect it to melt the first time I use my grill

  Very hackable 14 August 2015

  The blurb told me that this was only to be used on ovens with right angle corners. My old seal had curved corners but I decided to take a chance. By using the old metal parts and the new seal it worked a treat. I even have enough seal left over for future repairs. Only problem is I'm burning stuff as I had gotten used to so much heat escaping.

  product was fair value for money easy to fit, the only down side with product is that it does not stick to the lining of the grill/oven, so it hangs down slightly, making it look unfinished.

  excellent, speedy service from espares 30 January 2015

  My outdated oven ceased manufacture and spares were unavailable so I took a chance and ordered a universal seal. It was extremely easy to fit but the oven door did not close properly. However, with the aid of a craft knife, I managed to reduce the depth of the seal and the door now closes correctly. This has saved me the expense of having to buy a new oven.

  Even Better Than The Original Seal 27 January 2015

  This oven door seal proved very easy to fit once I had read the included instructions. The original seal failed at the corner when the rubber perished. The new metal corner/hook fittings are more superior than the original ones supplied by Cannon. The whole changeover took no more than ten minutes. Easy.
