  Fit my Candy exactly 08 September 2023

  I can confirm the review below. These brushes exactly fit the motor in my Candy GVS148D3/1-80 washing machine. For less than £20 my washer was spinning nicely again. The tricky bit was diagnosing the problem. Definitely check the brushes, remove to check, you’ll see if they are finished. The video also very helpful.

  Followed eSpares video to install carbon brushes. These carbon brushes fitted my old Candy washing machine GVS148D3/1-80. The product description was not clear if it fitted my washing machine, but the images looked exactly the same as my old carbon brushes. I did 2 wash cycles and it worked.

  Very good and affordable fix 08 May 2019

  My carbon brushes arrived on time, Fitting was relatively easy but make sure to clean all old carbon dust off the armature contact area. Also check orientation angle when installing. Washing machine motor started up with no crackling or flashing. Job done !

  Not exactly what I needed but does the job 20 December 2017

  I was looking for brushes for a CDA washer drier. Like looking for Hen's teeth! After removing the motor I got a part number off the motor and found that the brush blocks were used on many other machines. The part supplied was optimised by brush slope for the wrong rotation. Had to grind the brush with a swapped rake. The part is clearly the right overall fit. I wish that more spare part stock holders had references for CDA spares. They are so commonly supplied for fitted kitchens and original spares are astronomical.

  Great service 07 July 2017

  The washing machine was making an awful noise - then stopped working, I used the espares website to identify the problem and placed the order. I placed the order on Thursday and the parts came on Friday = amazing, fast service. Going back to the video to see how to fit the parts - half an hour later the washing was on. Great service - speedy delivery - who could ask for more?

  Exact replacements for worn-out brushes. 20 March 2016

  E-spares online chat found the exact part number for me - very helpful. The brushes are an exact replacement for the worn-out brushes on the washing machine motor (the drum had stopped turning). Online video guides made replacing the bushes straightforward.

  Carbon Brush X 2 to fit Hoover HPE 236 Washing Machine 23 November 2013

  Once I was satisfied I was ordering the correct item for my machine, by comparing what I had taken off to the pictures on espares site ordering was straight forward and the items arrived in good time. The brush and holders I received were complete with the spades attached and the whole assembly fitted the motor with no hassle. Will continue to use espares for my first source of parts for any future domestic appliance repair.
