  half the neff price lasted a couple of months this time instead of the usual two years on average now on fourth replacement. part fits as easy as others even though you have to remove fan as neff have fitted screw for bracket behind it

  Difficult to fit and needed alteration 04 January 2023

  It proved impossible to remove the oven fan to fit the central bracket. The only practical solution was to cut the bent section of the bracket off. Additionally, the holes in the other two end brackets were such that the fan rubbed against the element and would not turn freely. The clearance between the fan and the element is very tight. I needed to drill larger holes in these brackets to enable the heating element to be raised slightly to clear the fan. The issue with the central bracket is a fundamental design flaw with NEFF ovens - why locate a bracket behind a fan that is so difficult to remove? I suspect the holes in the lower brackets would haved been better positioned with the correct clearance from the fan if I had purcheased the original manufacturter's part rather than the equivalent and cheaper one. Now it is fitted it is fine, but be prerpared for some time-consuming customisation. (This is the 2nd time I have replaced this element in the oven - the first replacement lasted 6 years with average use of the oven, so that does not seem unreasonable.

  Xmas dinner saved! 31 December 2021

  Oven element blew on the evening of 23rd December. Ordered a new one at about 7:30pm, arrived lunchtime on the 24th. Fitted in time to cook Xmas dinner. Great service

  This works well but I need to order a new one every 7-9 months. Original NEFF part lasted for years.

  Needed replacing again after just 18 months 19 September 2021

  Bought this in January 2020. Original part had lasted for ten years plus but within 18 months the replacement has just burned out. More cooking with Covid but even so... It's not so much the cost (it's pretty cheap) but the inconvenience of having to do the job again so soon. Will look for an original replacement part this time....

  Neff oven element 26 August 2020

  Neff U1721 oven element - to add to the awkward design of the element being behind the fan this part was only just the right size with the top screw being ever so slightly below the actual screw hole. Previous replacements have fitted perfectly.

  Perfect replacement for a failed heating element 14 April 2020

  Espares once again rescued us from a potentially difficult situation. Our oven element failed during the Coronavirus lock-down. It wasn’t possible to get a contractor to visit and repair the oven. Encouraged by the helpful videos on the Espares.co.uk website and the easy identification of the correct replacement part, I ordered a new element. The part arrived promptly and I was able to fit it with not too much difficulty. Many thanks Espares, we had turkey crown for our Easter Sunday dinner.

  Absolute Rubbish 04 April 2020

  Element used for about 6 months before it burnt out.Genuine spare not in stock so bought this cheaper replacement..Waste of money. Had to rate it one star because not possible to rate it zero!
