  Replacement part broke after a month 18 June 2017

  Part was delivered quickly and fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the plastic cracked within a month and therefore will need to purchase a replacement part again. Will be trying a different manufacturer to see if I can get something that is of higher quality.

  Could I have been unlucky? 03 January 2017

  The locking mechanism relies on a spring held in compression to hold the dryer door closed. The plastic lugs on which the compressed spring rests are insufficiently strong to support the spring. The original part lasted 10 years the replacement part 2 months. Got another part foc from supplier no problem there. Lets hope it lasts longer this time. When you get the part you wonder what you have paid for. Part not worth the price.

  Good delivery service as normal, the web site said 7 days and delivered in 4. The 3 times i have bought spares from this site have always reasonably priced and of decent quality.

  Vastly over priced, delivered late, but sadly essential 01 July 2014

  This is the second replacement latch I've fitted in 12 months, though to be fair the first replacement wasn't procured from espares, though it looked the same. The latch is a reasonable complicated bit of plastic, but so simple to fit I got my 27 year old son to change the second one and he only just understands one end of a screwdriver from the other. The part works fine and took maybe two minutes to fit. However, there's minimal cost to manufacturing this thing so the profit level must be enormous, but we'd got fed up of holding the door shut with a stick so there was no alternative ! And incidentally I paid a couple of quid extra for next day delivery. It turned up five days later, need I say more ?

  Saving £200 19 March 2014

  The lock on my condenser tumble dryer refused to hold. The price of a replacement machine was well over £250. Dreading that my machine was an antique I explored the espares web site and found the right part. I may have hesitated as my track record on DIY has not been exemplary, however the video made it look easy. It was. It works like new. The part felt expensive for what it is
