  Brilliant repair kit, but shouldnt be needed! 12 September 2017

  eSpares save the day again with a great little repair kit to renew the drum bearing. As a professional engineer quality gets marked down as its a very poor design for a main support bearing and nastily fitted (neither of which are eSpares fault), we really shouldn't be needing this part, but eSpares comes through with rescuing me again.

  Excellent delivery. Good quality product, better than original. My dryers drum was also damaged so it was a harder fix but if you are only doing a bearing change it is a quite simple job.

  Loud noise coming from the dryer and movement in the drum. Changed the bearing and this worked a treat. Easy to install as everything is screwed together with small crosshead screws. Arrived quick on the normal delivery and fitted within half hour.

  The product is fit for purpose & not to hard to fit. Do not leave the bearing change to long as it will damage the spider that it fits to. If this happens then it's a new dryer as the spider is perminantley fixed to the drum & is not obtainerble as a separate spare part & the cost of the complete drum & spider is nearly the same price as a new dryer so check your dryer first before you buy the replacement bearing as it may be a new dryer you require.

  my drum spider was riveted to the drum and not held with screws and had to be drilled out, incorrect centre shaft supplied as mine had a centre thread and one supplied did not, also centre shaft triangular back plate did not have threaded fixing holes to fix to back plate that was required
