  Saved my old polisher 16 January 2018

  Great to find this.It has saved my old polisher. Difficult to fit but put in hot water for a while then stretch the belt and it is possible to fit on your own.would be very useful to have brief fitting instruction

  Amazing the spare drive belt is still available sfter ~50 years 30 October 2015

  Expensive but a good quality product. A very tight fit so a struggle to get it in place, but once there it performed perfectly.

  Correct part - difficult to fit 14 August 2014

  Although this was the correct part it was very difficult to fit and unusually there doesn't seem to be any instructions on the internet. It was finally fitted with two people's hands and brute force; there must be an easier way to do it but I couldn't find it. No help from Electrolux either.

  Electrolux drive belt 09 June 2014

  The polisher is as old as me (46 - Mum bought it with my child allowance!) - it's amazing that parts are still available. It works perfectly but the belt is difficult to fit, as it's very tight. I had to immerse it in boiling water for a few minutes before I could get it on, even then it was as much as I could do to fit it (wear gloves). Still, the last one lasted around 20 years.

  Easy to fit (when you know how) 24 November 2012

  When the original belt finally gave up after many years service, we were very pleased to find that replacements were still available. The old belt was in pieces and it was difficult to work out how it had been fitted around the 3 rotating heads. However, the answer was that it isn't fitted around the 3 heads only 2 of them and around the drive shaft. Once you work that out and give the new belt a good soak in hot water before fitting to give it a bit more elasticity, it went on quite readily. It's a shame this site does not allow you to upload photos as that would make it much easier to show how the belt is fitted. All working fine again now and looking forward to many more years service from this floor polisher.

  This saved me buying a new polisher 13 September 2012

  My polishing machine is 22 years old and when the drive belt broke a few weeks ago, I thought that is that. No way will I find a replacement. But remarkably enough, epares did have a new one and it was easy to fit!
