Even simpler than the video shows. 21 August 2021
Paying for Saturday delivery was well worth it. Ordered placed at 4:20pm on Friday, pump installation finished by 12:30pm Saturday. The video was incredibly useful, but why Rory feels the need to take off the top and rear panels is a mystery; as another reviewer has pointed out, just go through the bottom (which is open anyway) like Rory actually does in the video. In case it's useful for others, my machine is a 13 year old Bosch Exxcel 1200 (WAE24465GB/03), and it was showing the F18 error code.

Dead easy repair!!! 03 October 2020
Our drain pump went noisy first then a few days later stopped draining. After dismantling the drain pump and pipes I found a 50, 20 and two 5 pence pieces and the end of an apple phone charger (they never made it to the filter) blocking it off. The replacement pump arrived the next day and swapping out takes five minutes (after watching YouTube). The new pump seems an excellent replacement and the wife is currently testing the washing machine non stop! This is my third item from espares and they always have great communication and delivery. Very easy to fit 22 July 2020
Despite the Bosh video showing how to remove panels , the access was gained by tipping the machine on its front . Only had to remove the from lower panel to get to the only fixing screw for the pump . Very straight forward diy task .

Got the right part on the second attempt 01 August 2018
Although my initial search for the pump I needed pointed me to another item (which did not fit) when I called the help line they very quickly helped me find one that would fit and sent me a free return label for the pump that did not. Bit more expensive than I thought I would pay and I had to fit the draining connection as well as the locking twist was opposite to the original. But all sorted in about 40 mins and already completed 4 of the backed up washes. Great :)

Assembly fits old bosch 05 June 2023
Having watched the video I thought I could just fit the pump without the assembly, however the pump did not fit the bosch assembly so I had to remove and replace the complete package. A bit more fiddly but all good in the end, and machine pumping out that dirty water again.
