  I must admit it was a relief to be able to switch my TV on and off with ease once I had tuned it in but was disappointed that I cannot perform all functions such as using the programme guide and the teletext service

  Not Universal 29 April 2017

  The product claims to be universal but appeared not to work with my LG TV. The device itself appeared to work, but I tried the various procedures in the manual to get the device to communicate with my TV, but nothing worked. Watch out if you're going to buy this!

  Having ordered the remote and accepted delivery within the specified time, I was initially bewildered by the process of setting up the remote. I did the "man" thing of not reading all the procedures open to me. When I did, the job was simple. In the meantime I did speak to a young man ( George - I think) good man, was genuinely empathetic. Will use the company whenever required, without hesitation.

  The 'handset' comes with 'set-up' instructions and once you read and understand them, then it's pretty much straightforward. ( especially when you're my age and you get your Grandson to do it for you)
