  Excellent in part. Minor improvement needed. 28 October 2016

  My previous multimeter leads disintegrated and I purchased this one on impulse, a suppliers dream ? In general it behaves admirably and I would certainly recommend it but I found a problem for me at least. Two of the meter scales are printed in dark blue on a black background. No problem in bright conditions but life is not like that at times and the first time I used it I struggled. If you can cope with this read my score as five, but for me it's a four I am afraid.

  The tester offers more functions than most buyers would require. Ensure you read leaflet before use. The low current ranges involve changing test lead to different socket, not obvious. However it offers AC current ranges, good feature. As usual the length of test leads is wanting but good for most purposes.
