  Not as easy as I had hoped 17 January 2023

  Replacing the seal on our Zanussi oven should be easy - or so the "How to.." video suggested. In fact, although the website said it was the right part for my model, the locating holes on the oven were facing a different way (inside a rebate in the housing) and I had to do some adjustment to the securing spikes on the seal. Being in 4 seperate lengths rather than one piece, it isn't such a tidy fit as the original, but it will do the job.

  Some minor problems but seal does the job 18 August 2021

  No tracking number was provided by eSpares and Royal Mail failed to leave a card when they tried to deliver while I was out. I rang eSpares to ask where my parcel was and they gave me the tracking number and I was able to get a delivery. Memo to eSpares - give the customer the tracking number! There have been mixed reviews about this door seal. If you are thinking of buying one, read the reviews first for tips and how-to's. In my case, I found that the barbed corner hooks supplied would not go in the corner holes of my Baumatic oven. I had to re-use the existing unbarbed hooks but the door seal tends to slide off them at one corner. I think this might be because I cut the seal a fraction too short and the elasticity of the seal just slides it off. Luckily, there was enough unused seal left over to allow me to cut a longer section - fingers crossed it solves the problem!

  Clips did not fit Bosch oven 13 November 2020

  Despite being recommended as being suitable for my oven, the clips did not fit. I had to use the clips from the old seal to make it fit,

  Fitting Instructions unhelpful 14 June 2020

  The sheet of paper included with this product was not very helpful, and it was only when I returned to the eSpares website and watched their instruction video did I discover how these seals should be fitted. I think either the leaflet that comes with the product should be more explicit as to the way these items are fitted, or there should be a clear direction to the eSpares video. I got them on eventually, but not without some concern that I may have needed to order a replacement set due to the risk of destroying the first ones!

  Good quality, but... 26 March 2020

  Purchased to replace old seal on the owen that was split. Bought this one as by the description was perfect fit for round corner owen seal with hooks but when recieved and done all of the assembly by the instructions and fitted - came to conclusion that its too thick and the door won't close all the way... At the end can't be returned as already fitted s9 ended up cutting off top bit of the seal that's squashing at the bottom of the door to allow top side to close further- seems to work better but still not the way it should. My advise for anyone who is buying this- make sure that the gap between owen and the door allow this to be fitted as this seal is 10mm thick that i didn't find in the description- said only that its 10mm wide. Would give 5stars bug its not really universal as doesn't fit for all in terms of thickness.

  Didn't fit 13 December 2019

  The description of the seal give the impression that there's no problem fitting the seal to an oven with round corners.... the video that's available that also shows how easy it is... However, the hooks on the corner pieces were formed in the opposite direction to the ones that were in the 'old' seal and having reshaped them with pliers were then too short to fit, so I ended up having to join the seal with the supplied corner pieces and then fit the 'old' seal corners pieces over the top of them so that it could be fitted to the oven. There's nothing in the description that mentions it only fits ovens that have a specific hook type...... you find out the hard way.... Having said that I've managed to end up with seal that seems to be working.....

  Difficult 23 July 2017

  Your how to replace video very helpful, but I found the actual clips on the corners too short with the thickness of the new seal holding it away from the oven door until all clips in place. I had to resort to clamps on each top corner until bottom fittings attached. Clips should be 3mm longer.

  Too thick for oven door to close properly 23 May 2017

  Am leaving three stars for the extra-speedy delivery service and the excellent video that shows how to measure up and trim this product to your required size: all fantastic. However the product itself was useless for my Baumatic oven: far too thick which meant the door could not close properly once the seal was fitted. Trying to trim the seal was not an option so the product has been binned. So this is a universal seal, but only partially so. The Baumatic oven that I have is now discontinued and so I was unable to buy a Baumatic part to do the job. Oven replacement now on the horizon. Very disappointed.

  The quality is very good and easily assembled, but it is not universal. It was to fat for my oven and would not hook on properly. Therefore it is worth checking to see if it actually fits the oven it is bought for.

  Seal is thicker than original 28 August 2016

  Purchased to replace perished seal on Miele oven. Profile of rubber is thicker than original so door is no longer flush with frame, but doesn't seem to allow heat to escape. Very fair price when compared against over £100 for branded Miele replacement.
