  An underwired bra had damaged the old seal - pierced and torn the door seal. Did two washes with gaffer tape sealing rips and holes. Door seal arrived next day on time. Old seal off in less than three mins. I applied far too much washing up liquid as a lubricant to the new seal as a result it kept popping off removed most of the washing up liquid, on this machine I needed to remove the top to lift / fit the seal near the top over the triangle shaped lip on the outer drum (otherwise 5 stars for ease of fitting). Without the top lid this made fitting the rear door clamp much easier. Used the old rear door seal clamp as this had a longer spring section than the front door seal clamp i.e. it appeared to be different. On the packaging for both new clamps it does say "front bellows" clamp. PS most of this work was carried using one hand (following an operation on left arm) and a few wooden spoons and a couple of flat screwdrivers.. I just needed help refitting the door.

  slight difference to the one in the video,retaining ring was wire and spring not all spring.took more off than needed,note to self watch the video first.apart from that easypeasy.ex sewing machine mechanic so used to fidderling in small spaces.

  Bought this as it was so much cheaper than getting someone out to fix one for me. My sister looked online how to do it, it looked fairly simple. The only tricky bit was getting the metal spring on and off, but a bit of woman power and it was sorted. Took about 20 minutes to fit...all without the aid of a man!

  Purchased this item to replace a mouldy door seal. Exactly as item description on website. Fitted perfectly and was a complete match to the one I removed, great quality as it is a genuine product from the washing machine manufacturer. No leak issues, machine looks like new now.
