  Didn't exactly fit.... 20 February 2017

  Our cooker hob is 25 years old so standards have changed - this knob is the first part to need replacing. However it's spindles are thinner than any of the 3 adapters provided. The only answer was to insert a thin slice from an ice cream tub! But it works.

  What a brilliant idea. 07 February 2017

  Great product. Unfortunately none of the adaptors were small enough to grip the spindles on my hob. I made some packers from tin sheet and made a tight fit with them. The knobs have held on now.

  Be careful about alignment 18 December 2016

  You can't easily get the inserts out so make sure you put them on before you put the knob on and make sure it is in the right alignment.

  Hob knobs 13 December 2016

  Had problem with initial order and no delivery but e-spares quickly sorted things and despatched replacements on next day delivery. Easy to fit even a child could manage. Thanks.

  Look good, fit well, excellent value 15 November 2016

  Super simple to fit. And they do fit. Look like they might last longer than the original knobs which were so flimsy they only survived 3 years. My husband says they look better than the originals too.

  Control Knob for Hygena APL1191 02 August 2016

  I bought two Universal Multifit Cooker Control Knob - Black to replace the missing control knobs on my cooker. I thought it would be an easy fit. At first I was not so sure which spindle size to use, watching the video a few times helped me out. Once I had the correct spindle size it was very tight to slide down by hand. In the end I had to use an hammer which I was scared to use, especially with a gas appliance. However after all that faf the cooker controls are broken (jammed! nothing to do with this purchase though)

  Replaces broken switch and cooker can be controlled again. Spline fits perfectly on to cooker but not to handle, grips when turning but loose if pulled and falls off.
