  Problem solved! 06 January 2015

  My new washing machine was suffering from waste water from the sink, running back into the machine.On discovering that the cause was that the new drain hose was shorter on the new machine, i purchased an extension hose which was easily fitted, quality parts, allowing me to raise the drain pipe and create a "U "bend, problem solved, wife now happy! Thank you e spares.

  Extension for waste hose of washing machine. Simple to fit. Good value. If 2.5m is too long there is also an extending version which goes from 60cm to 200cm. Don't forget you may need an extra jubilee clip to join this to your waste pipe.

  Very hard to fit on the Zanussi. Had to take panels off the machine - no easy screw onto the outside of the machine. What a pain...

  Saves extending 40mm pipework 02 September 2014

  Enabled us to move the washing machine without having to rip out the kitchen cabinet in order to extend the 40mm pipework. Washing machine seems to work fine even with the extra distance the water has to go.

  Successful replacement 23 October 2013

  Item came as described and worked as a direct replacement for the original hose which was 2.5M. It was a bit of a fiddle to fit but was not the fault of the part. I found the best way was to lay they machine on its side with pump downward and remove the bottom panel. I small amount of Vaseline help the rather tight fitting end of the hose to slip on the pump. Must use the supplied jubilee clip which was only just big enough. Reusing the original sprung clip did not give a tight fit.
