Always used Bosch engineers before and waited days for a visit, so this time I studied the fault, listened to the on-line eSpares repairs and ordered parts on Sunday and got them on Monday, so repairing and using the washer same day. Thanks eSpares for your prompt service and delivery

Excellent video on diagnose and how to fit replacement element All done, no problems. Would mention that the earth wire terminal has a locking tab which needs to be lifted to ease it off. Thanks you e spares, keep up the good work

Easy to fit and seems good quality 21 May 2019
Fitted to my Bosch express 7. Just follow the instructions in the video. It took about 15mins. You just need a torq bit and a 10mm socket. Wear gloves as sharp edges inside machine. Also make sure you look down the hole before inserting as there is a guide down the far end the element fits in. My old one wasn’t inside it and was scraping on the drum. Ordered Sunday pm, arrived Monday lunchtime. Great service!

A new lease of life - on a budget 25 March 2019
Heating element blew on our 10 year old Bosch washing machine. I was worried about the price of a replacement element (I needn't have been) . As a bonus, the generic video gave me the confidence to fit it myself. The fitting was a little fiddly as my model was a different one to the example shown, but easy enough to work out what to do different. There's nothing so sweet as the sound of a broken machine working again - except maybe the wife saying "Well done, now you've done that do you want a beer?". Must also mention the fast delivery too.

Poor seal does not match original. 28 December 2018
Ordered this as a replacement for my bosch classixx 7. The element was 2000w not 2050w of the original - a minor difference that is ok, but might be of interest to some. The worst is the seal which is just a rubber strip. It doesn't have the extra lips of the original. As well as not having the extra lips, when you tighten it (particularly if you use the washing liquid) it just slips out. I thought I'd managed to get a good enough seal anyway but unfortunately it still leaked. Have returned. I wouldn't order this one if you want to avoid leaks!

Thought the element was gone in WM so checked espares,simple to find part once you have full model number.There was 2 options so went for the cheaper & it solved the problem & saved getting an engineer.The video was a great help

First off, the part fitted and once I got the right video, was easy to fit. The massive issue I have is that the video is on the page for the part and I used model search to get to the part. If the video had been in a help library, I would have been more cautious but the is a video for a front fitting element and my screws were rusted so I had to drill them out, broke 2 bits doing so and took around 2 hours, only to finally get the front off and find... no element. So it was all a complete waste of time. In my case, the element was at the back and that approach took 20 mins. You can sense my frustration so writing this in the hope it saves someone else a bunch of time... I put neutral on quality and value because I won’t know that for a few years, hopefully!
