  The door on the Hotpoint washer dryer was stuck shut. Internet research revealed the string trick, so we got it open. Further research took me to the eSpares website and a clear informative video on how to replace the handle. A replacement was ordered and it arrived next morning. Door fixed for under twenty quid plus my labour. Obviously, compared to paying for an engineer or even a new machine, this is very cost-effective. Thanks are due to eSpares.
