  Replacement door seal 03 May 2021

  Successfully fitted the new door seal after watching eSpares video and another video that we found which gave more detail. LG washing machine door seal - almost identical to old mouldy one. There was an extra inlet hole but this did not cause an issue. There was 1 very tricky step when fitting - the fitting of the inner clamp (had to remove the 2 cement curved blocks also tricky) to connect the seal to the machine - awkward 2 man job & lot of patience required! We had another issue with the outer clamp - it was very slack when fitting around the new door seal. We think the new door seal is thinner OR our clamp stretched when we took it off. Have ordered a new clamp but in meantime have adjusted the spring hooks on the clamp and it now fits perfectly. Happy customer.

  Original spare from LG 06 January 2021

  Watched the video on youtube and taking my time fitted the replacement part took a couple of hours all in, fitting the inner drum spring was hardest actually easier when two on the job. checked by doing a delicate wash no leaks saved a lot of money.

  Excellent service, good product other than a missing plug 26 October 2020

  The replacement washing machine door seal I purchased was of the same good quality as the original seal, although I have given 4 stars rather than 5 as a plug appeared to be missing. The original seal was already plugged, & my partner came up with a solution to the problem. Other than this the seal was easily fitted & my washing machine is no longer leaking. I have made several purchases from espares & would thoroughly recommend their excellent service.

  Job Done! 07 January 2019

  Yes, another job not easy to complete. Once fitted does the job perfectly. This needed time and nimble fingers and a lot of patience. Especially when you have to attach to the drum and the door. Just remember where the spring on the wire is located and to fit it back in the same place. However easy enough to come off.

  Took some elbow grease but saved a lot 01 June 2018

  Using the video instructions (our machine was slightly different but close enough) we only struggled to get the inner band back on. In the end we took the weights off the front of the drum and it was much easier to get it back on with some spoon handles. Took the opportunity to disassemble and clean out the soap dispenser at the same time. It will be interesting to see how long this seal lasts.

  Washing Machine Door Seal 26 April 2017

  Exceptional Quality and speed of post. Took 2 people to fit the seal but was well worth the time and trouble. Requesting a repair man would have cost £150 plus.

  Great LG replacement 16 March 2017

  My door seal had lost a chunk of rubber so ordered the replacement. A bit tricky to replace but just fiddly really. My husband used bike tyre levers to get it off and on!! Oh and lots of washing liquid
