  An over due replacement! 24 April 2014

  About 2 years ago I decided to clean our fridge (don't worry I have done it since then too) and got to cleaning the last shelf which happened to be the salad shelf. Anyway, a sink full of glass later and I wasn't happy! Since then we have lived without one. So I finally decided to look for a replacement and this was a perfect fit in our Hotpoint RLA21 fridge. It is clear as mentioned in other reviews, but if anything that means you can see that veg you forget you had and that will be rotting next week. I still had the plastic that the old glass was slotted into and this fitted straight in. Partner very happy... "about time!" I believe was the comment upon her opening the fridge door!

  Glass Crisper for Indesit Fridge 07 October 2013

  This was purchased due to breakage of original. Component is a glass panel that fits horizontally over the fruit and veg compartment in the fridge to keep the contents fresh and crisp. This unit was better than the original because it is made from clear glass rather than the original opaque glass so it is easier to see what is in the compartment. Fitting is no problem as the item is merely placed over the top of the compartment. The cost was a little more expensive than was anticipated but it does the job.
