  Damaged lead replaced 04 August 2017

  As long as you have a torx screwdriver, this is easy to fit. Once we found the video for the correct model it was very helpful. The original lead had a plastic sleeve over one of the spade connectors (the new one didn't). Using a small screwdriver we removed the sleeve and put it on the new lead. We also removed the cable clip from the old lead and attached it to the new one.

  Easy to change 29 June 2015

  As with a lot of people, my Dyson started cutting out whilst in use. Took it apart, found the start of a split in a wire and purchased this replacement cable. Fitted it in minutes and my Hoover now has power. Remember to grab bits from the old chord - use the cable clip, cable protector thing (the bit that attaches to the machine!) and the rubber connector cover from the wire that commute to the power switch. Next on the list are new filters and a good clean of the cyclones as it's lost suction over the last few months. Hopefully it'll then be back as good as new. Also worh checking the internal hose if you're experiencing a loss of suction.

  Great replacement 29 April 2015

  Great replacement cable. Remember to remove the stowing clip as the new cable doesn't have one. Also the connectors don't have plastic covers like the original cable, but nothing a bit of insulation tape can't sort out.
