Dyson back as new 12 January 2016
Bought a bottom hose unit and this filter. My Dyson is now back as new. Both were easy to fit and delivered timeously by espares. Many thanks.

How to improve suction on dyson 16 August 2015
The post motor filter is frequently overlooked, but changing this filter, replacing the 'soft' drive belt as well as washing/drying the pre motor filter improved suction significantly. The dyson now works like new.

Not quite like the video 06 August 2014
I thought this filter would be easy to fit as the video show the demonstrator just lift off the plastic filter cover with one hand. My cover was well and truly stuck. I had to carefully use a knife to gently pries the cover off, working gently around the circumference so that the cover was removed as straight as possible. Once it was removed, the filter was easy to change. Needless to say, the cover was again a bit stiff to put back on again, but changing both the pre and post motor filters has improved suction and the motor now runs without cutting off every 5 minutes.

This filter may not be made by Dyson, but fits perfectly and easily and has improved the suction of my ageing DC-04.
