  Only useable on square edged oven doors 27 October 2015

  I purchased this 'universal' seal for my Neff double oven (I checked that this was the recommended product for my model), but the brackets are shaped at 90 degree angels and the positioning of the clips mean that it is impossible to fit. Had to cut out the brackets from the original seal and glue those into the new one to make it work. Not recommended.

  Does not do the job 31 January 2015

  Fitted it as supplied, followedinstructions, first use seal expanded letting out heat. Had to stretch seal and add extra fixings - paper clips. This is most disappointing. I cannot reccomend this.

  Disappointing 25 November 2014

  Sadly despite optimism that this would be a simple job it proved to be very difficult. Having managed to cut it to fix and sealing the joins, on fitting the seal it became impossible for the oven door to shut properly as the seal was thicker than the existing one. So in the end called the professionals in who also tried but in the end abandoned it and ordered a fresh thinner ready made seal!!!!!!

  Beware - not universal 24 July 2013

  This item was not suitable for my Neff U1744S0GB/03 oven which seemed to fit the criteria of one hole at each corner. The hooks can only fit inward whereas I needed outward hooks. Unfortunately unable to return the item as I had already cut the seal into 4 sections before discovering the hook problem.

  Waste of time and money 17 January 2013

  I knew when I opened it would not do the job, but I persevered. Cutting and fitting was straight forward but, it was obvious that the rubber was not wide enough or thick enough to effect a good seal.

  This item does not fit over the edges of the oven so does not selve the the purpose it was made for . It doesn't form a seal.
