  Solved the problem. 07 October 2016

  I had inherited a cordless Strimmer but after a few months it failed. Diligent use of my AVO meter indicated a problem with the charger so I went online and bought what was shown as the correct item for that model. When it arrived I was surprised and concerned to find it much smaller than the original but with the correct connection. I tried it and the battery was recharged quickly and the Strimmer now works perfect again.

  A lesson in purchasing a 'genuine part' 03 August 2016

  My previous 'replacement' battery charger from a different company did not charge flat batteries & eventually failed completely. With Black & Decker items always pay the price for the genuine spare part it's cheaper in the long term. This charger is working great on my 'store' of batteries

  Precisely the part I needed - two empty batteries were recharged within minutes of arrival of the parcel. (The instructions on writing a review request me to stick to the quality of the part supplied. But the main point of this transaction [and this review] is the service - very prompt, with a little pen and a handy address-reminder card to make contacting them easier: this is how retailing should be done. Espares have made a friend.)

  18 Volty Charger for Hedge Trimmer 05 June 2014

  Goods were as described - Genuine Black & Decker charger. Ordering via web was easy and they also checked that I had the right charger for my hedge trimmer. Despatch and delivery were prompt - what more could you ask?

  Genuine B & D Charger 11 August 2013

  This B & D charger appears to do the job but though it did charge the battery it only lasted a few moments so I think either the machine is kaput or It needs a new battery. Service from eSpares is spot on came within three days from ordering.

  The website was easy to use and informative. I soon found the right spare for my strimmer and the ordering and payment process was simple. The delivery was relatively quick and the battery charger was put into use right away and worked well. What more can I say? I shall use espares again.
