Some modification required 29 August 2017
Despite checking that this would fit my model, I was disappointed to find it didn't. Had to drill out centre to remove bits (guess they would normally slot into grooves not there on my strimmer). Works fine now.

Modification Needed 14 July 2017
Although the Spool Cover was advertised as a suitable replacement for a Black & Decker GL315 Strimmer it did not initially fit over the shaft due to internal ridges. I was able to get it to fit by filing off the ridges to increase the internal diameter.

Big box for small part! 29 June 2017
The order process was easy and the part was delivered within the timescale and was exactly what was ordered! However, why did it need a box some 18 x 12 x 3 inches for something that is just 3 inches in diameter and about 2 inches deep?

This is the correct item for my strimmer it was a good price and fast delivery, having had the strimmer for a good number of years and because I do not live close to a city it's the best way to get spares.

The product was perfect for my model of strimmer and works well. Mine may have been an early model, so I had to smooth down the strimmer spindle in order for the cap to fit.
