  Worth having just in case. 27 July 2015

  Bought this along with the pinion (see review) with the intention of replacing both parts. In the end I re-used the old pin as it drifted out easily and went back with no problem. The new pin was going to be a very tight fit and a bit awkward to locate so I went for saving some time in using the old one. It is a small item, that could be lost or damaged when fitting so, for all the cost, I was glad to have it as a spare.

  This item was out of stock when I ordered it but I was informed of the delay and the item sent on Asap well packaged. Fitting is easy but getting the old one out is a task as it was seized in place. Good people to deal with, very efficient and I would recommend them to any potential buyer.

  Do it yourself..but a plan of action is needed. 29 May 2012

  In order to get accurately onto the spindle..and to prevent flexing during hammering..the motor has to be removed from the mower..(simple)..and the spindle placed on a solid surface or in a firm supported vice...A 'drift' is required to hammer out the pin...Buy a drift if you don't have one...thin nails or similar won't do...A twenty minute job...Dj..

  Never Again? 28 June 2011

  I identified the fixing pins that I needed for my Qualcast mower and ordered them. After an extremely long wait I then received the fixing pins which were nothing like the ones I needed. I question whether I will buy parts on line again given the length of time (several weeks to fulfil the order) and the fact that wrong parts were supplied.

  I was very disappointed with the delay in receiving the pins as this was the main item I needed to complete the repair.Otherwise all went well and the pin fitted easily.
